Dawn it is after the clueless night … the infinite struggle and endless fights;

Now free from the shackles you are ready to flow

With sunshine on your shoulders and wings to grow.

Gift

I sat down to think what I shall gift you

 

May be, your portrait

Made on a blank canvass with the rainbow

Reflecting your essence and glow

 

Or

 

May be, a heavenly drape

Made out of god’s own satin

To drape you, the Venus of Latin

 

Or

 

May be, a jewel

Made form the light of the stars

To adorn your visage and heal your scars

 

Or

 

May be, some chocolates

Made from devil’s own beans

For you to savor whenever you feel lean  

 

But

 

I know what to give you

A song from the core of my heart

For you to listen and your soul to think

And for your eyes to see what slowly sinks.

Soulful Eyes ...

I threw a stone into the pond; it went down without a sound … the ripples like the waves in my heart; after I drowned in her soulful eyes …



p.s: Hey folks I was planning something special double whammy for both my blogs together but couldn't finish it in time. I will be on the move for the next week or so, so until then enjoy the soulful eyes.

Love can Heal and Forgive ...

Last night it rained after a long toil
Releasing the fragrance from the virginal soil
Lulling me to sleep with the pitter patter and the breeze
Making me believe in thou power to heal and forgive …

Love never failed ... won't ever fail ...

She was not blind but she couldn't see; Her eyes were all right but her mind wasn’t free. She groped in the dark for eternity; until His voice gave her back the clarity.

And suddenly, again the silence prevailed; But her love for him, never failed.
It will never fail....

Its Women's Day today, the day to celebrate the kind without whom the world is incomplete. I could write more but I am too overwhelmed. An Ode to you Eve:
